These tests are recommended to
any Oregon resident who would like to decrease their utility
bills, increase the comfort of their home and improve the
overall health of their home. You may save up to 30% on
energy costs with Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®
Test.
If you are a Cascade Natural Gas,
NW Natural Gas, PGE or Pacific Power customer, you
may be eligible for as much as a $150 rebate for having one of
these tests done. If you heat with any one of the
following fuels: oil, propane, butane, kerosene, or wood, you
are eligible for a $100 rebate from the State of Oregon’s Home Oil
Weatherization Program.
If you are serviced by another power
provider other than the above mentioned, call Green Savers to

Tests performed during the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Audit:
Blower Door Test ~ A pressurized test to expose energy loss in your home’s exterior shell. (also referred to Air Leakage Testing)
Combustible Gas Test ~ Determines if your home has any natural gas leaks in the supply lines to your appliances.
Duct Blaster Test ~ A pressurized test of your duct system(s) to expose heating and cooling leaks.
Furnace Efficiency Test and Water Heater Efficiency Test ~ Determines how efficiently your natural gas appliances are burning.
Combustion Appliance Zone (CAZ) Test ~ Tests for any back drafting or other depressurization issues in the Combustion Zone.
CO Test ~ Monitors Carbon Monoxide levels to ensure they are not dangerous.
Window and Door Inspection ~ A thorough evaluation of windows and doors to determine if upgrading to energy efficient windows would be beneficial.
Thermal Imaging ~ A unobtrusive way to detect heat loss, thermal bridging, inadequate insulation levels in walls and hard to diagnose places. A visual inspection won't cut it. When you hire GreenSavers you are working with a trained professional using the latest technology to paint a clear picture of your home's current energy consumption and energy waste.
The Baseline Energy Efficiency Audit is our basic test which gives homeowners a general road map for areas of the home’s inefficiencies. After the test, the homeowner is given a complete report outlining the existing conditions of the home and the recommended energy efficiency upgrades.
