This SW Portland
home was leaking like a sieve; it was constantly drafty
and cold. The back bedroom was uncomfortable to spend
any amount of time in. The windows were drafty and
leaking. With no wall insulation the costly heated air
escaped through the walls within no time. There
was zero floor insulation, making the floors cold to
the touch throughout the winter. The health and safety
of the homeowner was a concern with an older water
heater located in an interior closet. The GreenSavers
team took the whole house approach to prioritize which
upgrades the homeowner should tackle first.
